My name is Lorna Bishop. I am an Accredited Play Therapist and a Creative Clinical supervisor in training. With over 11 years of experience working with children and their families, my journey began in 2013 when I pursued a Level 8 BA Hons Degree in Early Childhood Studies.

Through my work as an Early Years practitioner and a Special Needs Assistant, I recognised the significant gap in support services for children’s mental health. Passionate about meeting children’s individual needs, I have always embraced the power of play to enhance understanding and encourage self-expression. This passion led me to become a Play Therapist in 2018.

I founded Find Your Space Play Therapy in July 2020, during the global pandemic, as children’s mental health services were recognised as essential. Since then, I have been dedicated to providing the best possible support to numerous children and their families. I am truly grateful to the parents who have entrusted me with their children's care and to each child who has taught me so much about the therapeutic benefits of play.
